Spectrum Social Care Ltd (SSC) was established in Sheffield in 2000 to meet a demand from individuals who require support through personalised services in the social care field. Since SSC was formed it has experienced consistent growth. Our success lies in providing the highest standard of social care staff who are all referenced and cleared through the Vetting and Barring Scheme (CRB/DBS) to individuals who require just enough support in the community and other settings.

We provide services to a diverse client base including private clients, local authorities, educational establishments, charities, private organisations and individual care packages for Direct Payment funded clients and those with Individual Budgets. We are able to effectively respond to an individual’s needs and specialise in the design and implementation of person centred care and support packages, covering the South Yorkshire area.

We provide ongoing support, development and contact with both team members and clients. In recognition of our quality service provision, we have been awarded the Positive about Disabled People award, are a recognised preferred provider with the local authority and are also registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a Domiciliary Care agency.

Our Managing Director Jayne Smith was recently a finalist of The Great British Care Awards, which celebrates excellence across the social care sector. Due to her long-standing involvement in social care over the last 12 years, Jayne was nominated for The Outstanding Contribution to Social Care Award and was short-listed as one of four regional finalists for Great Yorkshire and Humberside. Receiving this award was a great honour and achievement, acknowledging Jayne’s commitment to care and the quality diverse services she manages in the social care field.
