We are more than just a recruitment company.

Spectrum Social Care Ltd (SSC) was established in Sheffield in 2000 to meet a demand from individuals who require support through personalised services in the social care sector. Since then, we have experienced consistent growth. Our success lies in providing the highest standard of social care team members who are all fully referenced and cleared through the Vetting and Barring Scheme (DBS) to individuals and families who require support in the community and other settings, to enjoy life and realise their aspirations.

We provide services to a diverse client base, including private clients, local authorities, educational establishments, charities and private organisations. We create personalised individual care packages for private funded clients, direct payment funded clients, and those with Individual Budgets. We professionally and effectively respond to an individual’s needs and specialise in the design and implementation of person centred care and support packages, covering the South Yorkshire area.

We provide ongoing support, development and contact with both team members and clients. In recognition of our quality service provision, we have been awarded the Positive about Disabled People award, are a recognised preferred provider with local authorities, and are also registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a Domiciliary Care agency. We are proud of achieving consistently ‘Good ‘ratings for our inspections the last 20 years.

Our Managing Director, Jayne Smith, in acknowledgement of her longstanding involvement and commitment to the social care sector over the last 20 years, was previously shortlisted as one of four regional finalists for ‘The Great British Care Awards’, which celebrates excellence across the social care sector for Yorkshire and Humberside. Receiving this award was a great honour and achievement, acknowledging Jayne’s and her team’s commitment to care and the diverse quality services they provide and manage within social care.
